                                                                                 SERVICE POLICIES

 

 

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: NE provides free technical assistance in the event your technician is unable to isolate a machine fault to a particular board or assembly.

 

TURNAROUND: Our normal turnaround is 3 days or less upon receipt of product. In the event it becomes necessary to keep an item for extended testing longer than five days, we may exchange the item for a fully repaired and tested item, from our exchange stock, at the normal Flat Rate Repair Charge, providing board has not been received with damage or previous attempted service.

 

PRIORITY SERVICE: Priority service is available on all boards and assemblies. Priority orders are immediately inspected and repaired. Items received via UPS BLUE LABEL are returned the next working day. Items received via UPS RED LABEL are returned the same working day whenever possible. Shipments received with multiple items for repair may cause delay.

 

PREPAYMENT: When payment is sent with item for repair, please include $10.50 for the first 5 pounds and add $1.50 for each additional pound over 5 pounds for return freight by UPS ground service. Prepayment will not be accepted on complete machines sent in for repair. 

 

TERMS: Repaired product is returned C.O.D. company check, with the exception of those granted net terms. Credit can be established with NE by completing a credit application and faxing or mailing it to NE: Attention Accounting Department.  We accept Master Card and Visa credit cards.

 

LIMITED WARRANTY: NE Warrants repaired parts to be in good working condition for one full year from the date of repair. If a part fails to be in good working condition during the warranty period, NE will at its option, repair or replace the part at no charge or refund the repair price charged for the original repair of the part. Damage to parts resulting from negligence, misuse, abuse, tampering, shipping, attempted service by other than NE personnel are not included in the warranty. Boards repaired with damage caused by corrosion to components and \ or circuit traces will be warranted for a period of 30 days. Complete machines, Monitors, Displays and D C A Style Boards, are only warranted for a period of 90 days from date of repair. Parts returned under warranty without proper warranty seals and labels intact may not be honored under warranty.  NE will pay return UPS GROUND shipping charges for all "trouble found" warranty repairs within the first 90 days, after 90 days the shipping will be charged to the dealer. 

 

NO FAULTS FOUND: When an item is found to have no fault after testing by NE, a $35.00 diagnostic fee will be charged as well as normal shipping charges.  If any faults occur within the warranty period the $35.00 charge will be deducted from the flat rate repair charge. Any Boards returned to us for repeat repairs under the service warranty that we find do not have any problems after extended testing, will  have a charge of $35.00 plus the return shipping and handling charge.

 

NON REPAIRABLE: In the event that a product is not repairable, the dealer will be notified as quickly as possible and provided the price of a replacement board. If the customer refuses the replacement board the product will be returned with a "non-repairable label". There will be no charge except for the return freight.

 

FAULT DESCRIPTION REPORT FORMS: To eliminate any unnecessary delays to you, please provide a completed Fault Description Report Form with each item for repair. These forms are available from us at no charge.  You may click on this link and print as many copies as you like.

 

EXCHANGE POLICY: Advance Cross Ship Exchange boards and assemblies are available only to those dealers with current open accounts, or using a valid credit card.  All defective items must be returned to NE within 15 working days from date of the exchange order, or you will be invoiced for a new item. All exchange boards and assemblies returned to NE must be in good repairable condition, no missing parts or damage due to previous attempted service. There will be no refunds on any exchange boards if found not to correct the machines faults. All exchange items are covered under our one-year warranty should any item fail.  All exchanges are final.
